There really is no place quite like the land of fire and ice - it is exceptionally outstanding in so many ways. It definitely holds a special place in our hearts, drawing us back time and again with its unparalleled natural beauty. Outside of the UK, Iceland is by far our most visited country. We have been there a grand total of 5 times, and we’re already itching to go back!
There’s nothing like the nature you experience in Iceland – from the momentous waterfalls, gigantic glaciers, and dramatic volcanic landscapes, and the best part? The natural hot springs.. for a country usually so cold, walking into a hot bath on the side of the road - most with incredible views - it cannot be beaten! It genuinely leaves us in awe every time. No matter when or where you go on this island, you’re bound to fall in love with its raw and untouched beauty.
Best way to explore? Camper van 150%! We’ve done the Golden Circle,The Ring Road (several times), a West Fjords road jolly and even managed to get around the whole country in one trip! Each road trip has so much to offer, so much to see that will leave your jaw on the floor!
